A multi-spectral camouflage net (MSCN) is an advanced concealment system designed to defeat detection across multiple electromagnetic spectrum bands simultaneously — not just visible light. While a standard camouflage net only provides visual concealment (400–700nm), an MSCN like the CAMPRO® 12dB MSCN protects against:
- UV (310–400nm) — defeats UV-enhanced imaging
- Visual (400–700nm) — defeats optical cameras and the human eye
- NIR (700–2500nm) — defeats night vision devices and image intensifiers
- SWIR (1–3µm) — defeats short-wave infrared sensors
- TIR (3–12µm) — defeats thermal imaging cameras
- Radar (1–100GHz) — reduces radar cross-section
This multi-band protection is critical in modern warfare where adversaries deploy surveillance sensors across the full electromagnetic spectrum, including satellites, drones, and ground-based systems.
The key difference is the number of electromagnetic spectrum bands they defeat:
| Feature | SCN (Standard) | MSCN (Multi-Spectral) |
|---|---|---|
| Visual concealment | Yes | Yes |
| NIR protection | No | Yes |
| Thermal IR protection | No | Yes |
| Radar attenuation | No | Yes (select models) |
| Typical weight | 160–250 GSM | 300 GSM |
| Price range | (price on request)–51/sq ft | (price on request)–50+/sq ft |
| Use case | Low-threat visual concealment | High-threat multi-sensor environments |
SCN products like the CAMPRO® Woven Reversible SCN are ideal for general concealment where the primary threat is optical detection. MSCN products like the CAMPRO® RT-MSCN are essential when facing advanced adversaries with thermal, NIR, or radar surveillance capabilities.
The CAMPRO® RT-MSCN is 99% transparent to radar and radio waves, meaning it allows communication signals, radar signals, and radio transmissions to pass through the net virtually unimpeded. This is critical for concealing communication towers, radar installations, and command vehicles where blocking signals would compromise operational capability. The net still provides full multi-spectral concealment across UV, Visual, NIR, SWIR, and TIR bands — it specifically allows radar/radio frequencies through while blocking all other detection methods.
The CAMPRO® 12dB MSCN provides 12dB of two-way radar attenuation, meaning it reduces the radar signal reflecting from a concealed asset by approximately 94%. In practical terms, this makes a large military vehicle appear as small as a bicycle on an enemy radar screen. The 12dB variant is our highest-performance radar-defeating net, designed for high-stakes environments where the adversary has advanced radar surveillance. For moderate radar-threat environments, the CAMPRO® 6dB MSCN offers a cost-effective alternative with approximately 75% radar signal reduction.
The CAMPRO® 3D MSCN features a three-dimensional structure that mimics the natural environment — with varying heights, textures, and shadow patterns — rather than lying flat over the concealed asset. This is significant because a flat 2D net draped over a vehicle still reveals the vehicle's shape to overhead sensors (especially satellites and drones). The 3D structure breaks up the silhouette, creating natural-looking terrain features. It provides full multi-spectral protection including radar attenuation across UV, Visual, NIR, SWIR, TIR, and Radar bands.
We offer reversible variants across both MSCN and SCN ranges:
- CAMPRO® 2D Reversible MSCN — Full multi-spectral + radar protection with two distinct camo patterns (e.g., woodland on one side, desert on the other)
- CAMPRO® Woven Reversible SCN — Durable visual-spectrum net with dual patterns
- CAMPRO® Knitted Reversible SCN — Lightweight visual net ideal for rapid deployment
Reversible nets allow forces to rapidly adapt to changing environments — for example, switching from jungle to desert concealment — without carrying two separate net systems. This reduces logistics burden and deployment time.
We manufacture four personal camouflage systems under the CAMPRO® brand:
- CAMPRO® MSCGS — Our flagship multi-spectral camouflage ghillie suit, developed in collaboration with DRDO. Provides protection across UV, Visual, NIR, SWIR, and TIR bands. Available in multiple sizes.
- CAMPRO® 3D Shape Adaptive Sniper Suit — Mimics the shape and texture of surrounding terrain including stones and ground cover. Designed and made in India. Ideal for prolonged static operations.
- CAMPRO® Reversible Sniper Suit — Two distinct camouflage patterns in one garment for multi-terrain operations.
- CAMPRO® 3D Sniper Hide — Fixed concealment position that blends into surrounding terrain for observation and firing positions.
All suits are manufactured in India and available in standard or custom patterns.
CAMPRO® ECR are artificial rock structures made from polyurethane, metal, and specialty coatings designed to conceal fixed military installations — bunkers, hangars, sheds, and tunnel gates. They are engineered to be:
- Anti-IR — defeats infrared imaging
- Anti-Thermal — defeats thermal cameras
- Radar-Absorbent — reduces radar signature
- Visually indistinguishable from natural rock formations
- Climate-resistant — withstands harsh weather and extreme conditions
ECR is used for permanent or semi-permanent site concealment where standard camouflage nets cannot be deployed. This is a unique product in the Indian defence manufacturing space.
The CAMPRO® Friend or Foe (FFF) system is a multi-spectral marking solution that allows friendly forces to identify each other across Visual, NIR, and TIR spectrums, significantly reducing the risk of friendly fire incidents. Available in two formats:
- CAMPRO® Friend or Foe Paint — permanent paint application for vehicles, equipment, and positions
- CAMPRO® Friend or Foe Stickers — self-adhesive labels for rapid application without specialist tools
Both formats are visible through night vision devices and thermal imaging systems while remaining inconspicuous to the naked eye.
We manufacture three specialised camouflage paint products:
- CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint — Near-Infrared Reflective coating that reduces visibility under night vision devices and IR surveillance systems. Suitable for vehicles and mobile assets.
- CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint — Disrupts thermal and infrared imaging of immobile assets. Designed for bunkers, watchtowers, barracks, and hangars where nets cannot be applied.
- CAMPRO® Anti-Radar Paint — Reduces the radar cross-section of vehicles and aircraft by absorbing and deflecting radar waves.
Additionally, our camouflage painting application provides professional application of these paints and multi-layered coating systems for vehicles, equipment, structures, and entire sites.
The manufacturing method affects the net's weight, durability, and deployment characteristics:
| Feature | Woven | Knitted |
|---|---|---|
| Weight | Heavier (300 GSM typical) | Lighter (250 GSM typical) |
| Durability | Higher — tighter weave resists tearing | Moderate — more flexible |
| Best for | Permanent/semi-permanent installations | Rapid deployment, mobile operations |
| Fold size | Larger pack | Compact pack |
| Cost | Slightly higher | Lower |
Both are available in reversible and non-reversible variants. Choose woven for fixed installations requiring long service life, and knitted for mobile forces prioritising weight and deployment speed.
The Army-spec camouflage nets is a standard military-grade visual camouflage net manufactured to army specifications. At 160 GSM with synthetic construction and 10mm rope diameter, it visually dissipates into the surrounding environment up to 90%. It provides visual-spectrum concealment (400–700nm) for general deployment scenarios including camps, mobile assets (tanks, trucks), and temporary positions. Patterns are customised per terrain requirement. It is our most cost-effective camouflage net at approximately available on inquiry.

Our CAMPRO® product range covers six electromagnetic spectrum bands:
| Band | Wavelength Range | Defeated By |
|---|
| UV | 310–400nm | MSCN nets, MSCGS ghillie suit |
| Visual | 400–700nm | All CAMPRO® products |
| NIR | 700–2500nm | MSCN nets, CAM-IRR paint, sniper suits |
| SWIR | 1–3µm | MSCN nets, MSCGS ghillie suit |
| TIR | 3–12µm | MSCN nets, Anti-Thermal paint, ECR |
| Radar | 1–100GHz | 12dB/6dB MSCN, Anti-Radar paint, ECR |
Not all products cover all bands. The CAMPRO® 12dB MSCN provides the broadest protection across all six bands. See individual product pages for specific coverage.
Net weights vary by product type:
- MSCN nets — 300 GSM (standard across RT-MSCN, 12dB, 6dB, 3D, and 2D Reversible)
- Woven SCN nets — 250–300 GSM
- Knitted SCN nets — 250 GSM
- Army Net — 160 GSM
Lower GSM means lighter weight and easier transport. Higher GSM generally indicates more robust construction and longer service life. For weight-critical operations, the CAMPRO® Knitted Reversible SCN at 250 GSM provides the best weight-to-concealment ratio.
All CAMPRO® camouflage nets use a 10mm rope diameter as standard. This provides the optimum balance between structural strength (supporting the net weight plus environmental loads like wind and precipitation) and packability. Custom rope specifications can be accommodated for specific requirements.
All CAMPRO® MSCN and SCN-FR products feature inherent fire retardancy — meaning the fire-resistant properties are built into the fibre itself, not applied as a surface treatment that degrades over time. Our products are tested and certified to:
- MIL PRF 53134 (Section 4.4.2.5.1) — US Military specification for camouflage net fire retardancy
- BS 5852 Part 1: 1979 — British Standard for fire resistance of upholstered composites
Inherent FR means the fire resistance does not wash out, degrade with UV exposure, or diminish with age.
The primary material across our CAMPRO® net range is polyester — chosen for its excellent durability, UV resistance, colour retention, and compatibility with NIR-reflective dye processes. The Army-spec camouflage nets uses synthetic construction. For ghillie suits, we offer both polyester (lightweight, 2.9kg) and cotton (FR variant) options. All materials are selected for military-grade performance in harsh field conditions.
Our MSCN nets reduce the thermal signature of concealed assets by disrupting the infrared radiation pattern in the 3–12µm wavelength range (TIR band). This makes the concealed asset significantly harder to detect using thermal imaging cameras, FLIR systems, and heat-seeking sensors. Multi-spectral camouflage nets can reduce heat radiation by up to 70%, screening hot targets (running engines, heated structures) from thermal sensors. The CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint provides similar protection for surfaces where nets cannot be deployed.
NIR (Near-Infrared, 700–2500nm) reflectance refers to how a material reflects near-infrared light. In nature, vegetation has a distinctive high NIR reflectance pattern. Military sensors exploit this — if a camouflage net has a different NIR reflectance than surrounding vegetation, it is immediately visible under NIR imaging, even if it looks identical to the naked eye. Our CAMPRO® products are engineered to match the NIR reflectance profile of natural vegetation, making them indistinguishable under night vision devices and NIR surveillance systems. The CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint is specifically formulated for NIR reflectance matching.
Radar cross-section (RCS) reduction varies by product:
- CAMPRO® 12dB MSCN — 12dB two-way attenuation (~94% signal reduction). Best-in-class.
- CAMPRO® 6dB MSCN — 6dB attenuation (~75% signal reduction). Cost-effective moderate protection.
- CAMPRO® Anti-Radar Paint — Absorbs and deflects radar waves; reduction varies by application thickness and frequency.
- CAMPRO® ECR — Radar-absorbent materials integrated into rock structure.
- CAMPRO® RT-MSCN — 99% radar transparent (designed to PASS radar, not block it).
CAMPRO® camouflage nets are designed for global deployment across extreme environments:
- Operating range: –40°C to +60°C
- Storage range: –50°C to +70°C
- UV resistance: Tested for extended outdoor exposure with minimal colour fade and spectral performance degradation
- Humidity: 0–100% RH
Arctic patterns are specifically optimised for cold-weather environments. Desert patterns account for high UV exposure and heat. Contact us for specific environmental requirements.
For optimal concealment effectiveness:
- Maintain minimum 2-foot gap between the net and the concealed asset's surface. This prevents the net from assuming the same shape and thermal signature as the target.
- Extend nets completely to the ground to eliminate unnatural shadows visible to overhead sensors.
- Use 3D variants (CAMPRO® 3D MSCN) for overhead observation environments to break up silhouette.
- Match terrain — select the correct pattern for the operational environment, or use reversible nets for transitional terrain.
- Integrate with surroundings using garnishing materials and natural vegetation where possible.
- Avoid regular shapes — irregular net edges and natural draping prevent geometric detection.
Inherent FR means the fire-resistant properties are built into the fibre at the molecular level during manufacturing. The FR performance cannot wash out, degrade with UV exposure, or diminish over time. Applied FR means a fire-retardant chemical is applied to the surface of an otherwise flammable material — this coating degrades with washing, weather exposure, and handling.
All CAMPRO® MSCN and SCN-FR products use inherent FR per MIL PRF 53134, ensuring the fire resistance lasts the lifetime of the product. This is a critical distinction for military procurement — applied FR products may fail fire tests after field use.
CAMPRO® nets are manufactured in standard module sizes that can be joined to cover any area. Standard sizes include:
- Individual vehicle: 6m × 6m, 8m × 8m
- Large vehicle/equipment: 10m × 10m, 12m × 12m
- Position/site coverage: Custom modules up to 20m × 20m
Nets are designed with overlap and joining systems for seamless coverage of larger areas. Custom sizes are available for specific applications. Minimum order for custom sizes is typically 8,000 sq ft.
Expected service life depends on the product and usage conditions:
- MSCN nets (300 GSM) — 5–8 years with proper care and storage between deployments
- Woven SCN nets — 5–7 years
- Knitted SCN nets — 3–5 years
- Army Net (160 GSM) — 2–4 years
Factors affecting lifespan include UV exposure intensity, mechanical stress, storage conditions, and handling frequency. We recommend dry storage in provided transit bags when not deployed. All products carry a 1-year manufacturing defect warranty.
CAMPRO® MSCN products are specifically designed to defeat satellite-based surveillance across multiple imaging modes. Satellite sensors typically operate in Visual, NIR, SWIR, TIR, and SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) bands — all of which are covered by our MSCN range. The CAMPRO® 3D MSCN is particularly effective against satellite imagery because its three-dimensional structure prevents the net from revealing the shape of the concealed asset from overhead. For permanent installations, CAMPRO® ECR provides satellite-proof concealment that is indistinguishable from natural terrain in all imaging modes.
The CAMPRO® MSCGS (Multi-Spectral Camouflage Ghillie Suit) provides comprehensive protection across five spectrum bands:
- UV (310–400nm)
- Visual (400–700nm)
- NIR (700–2500nm)
- SWIR (1–3µm)
- TIR (3–12µm)
Developed in collaboration with India's DRDO, the MSCGS represents the most advanced personal camouflage system available from an Indian manufacturer. It conceals the wearer's body heat, NIR signature, and visual profile simultaneously. Available in multiple sizes and terrain patterns.
Every production batch undergoes comprehensive testing:
- Tensile strength — material pull tests per standard
- Colourfastness — wash and UV fade resistance
- IR reflectance — spectrophotometer measurement for NIR band performance
- Thermal performance — TIR emission testing for MSCN products
- Radar performance — attenuation measurement for radar-defeating products
- Flame retardancy — per MIL PRF 53134 and BS 5852
- Dimensional accuracy — size and weight verification
- Visual assessment — pattern quality and colour match
All products are accompanied by full test certificates. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or equivalent can be arranged at buyer request.
CAMPRO® nets are designed for outdoor deployment in varying wind conditions. The 10mm rope diameter and polyester construction provide structural integrity under field conditions. Specific wind load ratings depend on the deployment method (free-hanging vs. supported), net size, and terrain exposure. For high-wind environments, we recommend:
- Use of support systems with proper anchoring
- Reducing net panel sizes
- Ensuring adequate tie-down points
- Selecting woven variants for higher tear resistance
Contact our technical team for wind-load engineering support on specific installations.
CAMPRO® polyester nets are inherently water-resistant — they do not absorb water, which means:
- No significant weight increase when wet
- No degradation of spectral performance
- Quick drying after rainfall
- No mould or mildew growth on the net material
The nets are permeable, allowing rainwater to pass through rather than pooling on the surface (which would create a visible signature). Thermal performance may be temporarily affected during heavy rain due to the cooling effect of water on concealed surfaces.
Pack sizes vary by product:
- Knitted nets (250 GSM) — most compact, approximately 40% smaller pack than woven equivalents
- Woven nets (300 GSM) — moderate pack size
- 3D MSCN — largest pack due to three-dimensional structure
Standard packaging includes military-grade transit bags designed for vehicle storage, air transport, and manual carry. Exact pack dimensions depend on the net size ordered. Contact us for specific pack dimension data for your logistics planning.
Yes. All CAMPRO® nets are manufactured with integrated joining systems — typically edge loops and rope channels — allowing multiple panels to be connected seamlessly. This modular approach means you can:
- Cover any area regardless of size
- Replace individual damaged panels without replacing the entire installation
- Mix different net types (e.g., radar-transparent panels over communication equipment within a larger MSCN installation)
- Scale coverage up or down based on operational needs
Deployment time depends on the net type, size, and crew size:
- Knitted SCN (vehicle-size) — 10–15 minutes with 2-person crew
- Woven SCN (vehicle-size) — 15–20 minutes with 2-person crew
- MSCN (vehicle-size) — 20–30 minutes with 2-person crew (heavier weight)
- Large area (site coverage) — 2–4 hours depending on complexity and support system
The CAMPRO® Knitted Reversible SCN is our fastest-deploying net, ideal for mobile forces requiring rapid concealment.
Our products fall under the following HSN (Harmonized System of Nomenclature) codes:
- 39073010 — Polyester-based materials
- 39100010 — Silicone-based materials
- 52121500 — Coated fabrics
- 39042110 — PVC-based materials
- 39071000 — Polyacetal materials
These codes are used for customs classification, export documentation, and GST compliance. Our export team handles all HSN classification as part of the shipment documentation process.
All CAMPRO® products are engineered for prolonged outdoor UV exposure. Polyester is inherently UV-resistant, and our dye processes use UV-stable pigments that maintain both visual appearance and spectral performance. Tested performance:
- Visual colour retention — minimal fade after 2+ years continuous outdoor exposure
- NIR performance — maintained within specification for the rated service life
- Structural integrity — no significant tensile strength loss within rated service life
For extreme UV environments (high altitude, equatorial deployment), we recommend the woven variants for additional durability.
CAMPRO® nets perform well in sandy and dusty conditions:
- Polyester material does not trap fine particles
- Net can be shaken clean or lightly washed for maintenance
- Spectral performance is not permanently affected by dust accumulation
- Desert-pattern variants are specifically designed for arid terrain optical properties
- Net drape naturally sheds loose sand
For desert deployment, the CAMPRO® 2D Reversible MSCN with desert/woodland sides provides maximum flexibility.
All CAMPRO® camouflage patterns are dyed using military-grade processes achieving:
- Wash fastness — Grade 4–5 (ISO 105-C06), meaning minimal colour change after repeated washing
- Light fastness — Grade 5–6 (ISO 105-B02), meaning high resistance to UV-induced fading
- Rub fastness — Grade 4 (ISO 105-X12), meaning minimal colour transfer during handling
These ratings ensure the camouflage pattern maintains its visual and spectral effectiveness throughout the product's service life. Test certificates are provided with every delivery batch.

We can arrange insurance on the buyer's behalf if requested.
SCOMET (Special Chemicals, Organisms, Materials, Equipment and Technologies) is India's export control list, similar to the Wassenaar Arrangement. Certain advanced camouflage products — particularly those with multi-spectral, radar-defeating, or stealth capabilities — may fall under SCOMET Category 1 (Special Materials) or Category 6 (Munitions List). Our export compliance team determines SCOMET applicability for each product/destination combination and manages the clearance process.
Yes. Export to NATO countries follows the standard DGFT licensing process, with an End-User Certificate from the buying nation's defence ministry. Our products can be manufactured to applicable NATO STANAG specifications where a procurement contract requires it.
Our export compliance programme includes:
- Pre-shipment screening against all applicable sanctions lists (UN, EU, US OFAC)
- End-user verification and due diligence
- Destination country risk assessment
- SCOMET classification review for every export order
- Record-keeping per DGFT requirements (minimum 5 years)

FIRE ARMOR® is our fire suppression product range designed for military, industrial, and critical infrastructure applications. The range includes four products:
- FIRE ARMOR® Coating — Protective layer applied directly to surfaces. Releases fire-extinguishing agents upon heat activation.
- FIRE ARMOR® Tape — Self-adhesive peel-and-apply tape for electrical panels and confined spaces.
- FIRE ARMOR® Sticker — Broader coverage format for medium and high-risk areas.
- FIRE ARMOR® Pad — High-volume suppression for servers, data centres, and critical equipment.
All products activate automatically on heat contact — no electrical connection or monitoring system required.
FIRE ARMOR® products contain encapsulated fire-extinguishing agents that activate automatically when exposed to heat above a threshold temperature. When a fire breaks out:
- Heat reaches the FIRE ARMOR® product surface
- The encapsulated extinguishing agent is released
- The agent suppresses the fire at the point of origin
- No human intervention, power supply, or monitoring system required
This passive activation ensures protection even in unmanned or remote locations — critical for military installations, battery compartments, and server rooms.
FIRE ARMOR® Tape is specifically designed for:
- Electrical panels and switchboards — wrap around cable runs and junction points
- Confined spaces — engine compartments, equipment housings
- Cable trays — prevent fire propagation along cable routes
- Vehicle battery compartments — protect against thermal runaway
- Military vehicle electrical systems — protect critical wiring
The self-adhesive format requires no tools — simply peel and apply. Precision application ensures suppression exactly where needed.
The key differences:
| Feature | Tape | Sticker |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Narrow strip, roll format | Flat sheet, larger area |
| Best for | Linear applications (cables, rails) | Surface applications (panels, walls) |
| Coverage | Targeted, precise | Broader area |
| Application | Wrap around objects | Adhere to flat surfaces |
| Risk level | Moderate, localised threats | Medium-to-high risk areas |
Choose tape for wrapping cables and confined components. Choose sticker for broader coverage on flat surfaces and panels.
The FIRE ARMOR® Pad provides the highest suppression capacity in the FIRE ARMOR® range. Designed for:
- Server rooms and data centres — protect high-value computing infrastructure
- Large equipment housings — generators, transformers, industrial machinery
- Military vehicle engine bays — high-heat environments
- Critical infrastructure — communication hubs, command centres
- Battery storage facilities — Li-ion battery fire protection
The pad format concentrates a higher volume of extinguishing agent for areas where fire risk is greatest and asset value is highest.
Yes. FIRE ARMOR® is designed for military vehicle applications:
- Battery compartments — Tape around battery connections and cabling
- Engine bays — Coating on surfaces, Pad near high-risk components
- Electrical systems — Tape on wiring harnesses
- Ammunition storage — Sticker and Pad for fire containment
- Fuel system proximity — additional protection layer
FIRE ARMOR® operates without electrical power, making it ideal for damaged vehicles where electrical systems may be compromised.
FIRE ARMOR® products are designed as fit-and-forget solutions:
- No maintenance required after installation
- No electrical connections to monitor
- No batteries to replace
- No pressure gauges to check
- No regular servicing needed
Periodic visual inspection (check for physical damage, peeling, or displacement) is recommended as part of general equipment maintenance. Replace if physically damaged.
FIRE ARMOR® products have a rated service life from date of manufacture. Specific service life depends on the product variant and storage/installation conditions. The encapsulated fire-extinguishing agents maintain their effectiveness for the rated period when installed per guidelines. Contact us for specific product shelf life data and storage recommendations.
FIRE ARMOR® is designed as a complementary passive fire protection layer, not a replacement for active fire suppression systems (sprinklers, halon, etc.) in large facilities. However, for specific applications it provides standalone protection:
- Remote or unmanned locations where active systems aren't feasible
- Vehicle compartments where traditional systems are impractical
- Point-of-origin protection for specific high-risk components
- Backup protection when active systems may be compromised (combat damage)
For comprehensive fire protection, we recommend FIRE ARMOR® as an additional defence layer alongside existing systems.
Yes. FIRE ARMOR® extinguishing agents are selected for compatibility with electronics and sensitive equipment. Unlike water-based systems that cause secondary damage, FIRE ARMOR® agents suppress fire without:
- Water damage to circuits and components
- Corrosive residue on sensitive surfaces
- Conductive contamination of electrical systems
This makes FIRE ARMOR® ideal for server rooms, data centres, communication equipment, and military electronics.
Li-ion battery fires (thermal runaway) are a growing concern in military vehicles, communication equipment, and portable power systems. FIRE ARMOR® Tape and Pad can provide a passive protection layer around battery installations:
- Tape wrapped around battery connections and cabling
- Pad positioned near battery packs
- Coating applied to battery compartment surfaces
While FIRE ARMOR® provides immediate fire suppression at the point of activation, severe thermal runaway events in large battery arrays may require additional active suppression. FIRE ARMOR® provides critical early-stage protection and buys time for evacuation.
FIRE ARMOR® products are engineered to activate at temperatures associated with fire conditions — well above normal operating temperatures of military equipment and electronics. The specific activation threshold is calibrated to distinguish between normal heat (engine operation, electrical load) and fire conditions. Contact our technical team for specific activation temperature data for your application.
FIRE ARMOR® products can provide passive fire protection in aircraft applications including:
- Avionics bay fire protection
- Battery compartment protection
- Cargo hold supplementary protection
- Ground support equipment
Aircraft application requires compliance with aviation fire safety standards. Contact us to discuss specific aviation requirements and applicable certifications.
FIRE ARMOR® products are designed with environmental responsibility:
- No ozone-depleting substances (ODS-free)
- No halon or CFC-based agents
- Minimal environmental impact from activated agents
- Materials comply with applicable environmental regulations
Disposal of unused/expired products should follow local hazardous material disposal guidelines.

Yes. Modern military drones carry sensors across multiple spectrum bands — visual cameras, NIR sensors, thermal imagers, and in some cases radar. Our CAMPRO® MSCN range defeats all these sensor types simultaneously:
- Visual cameras → defeated by visual-spectrum camouflage patterns
- NIR sensors → defeated by NIR-reflective materials
- Thermal cameras (FLIR) → defeated by TIR reduction (up to 70% heat signature reduction)
- Radar (SAR drones) → defeated by 6dB or 12dB radar attenuation
The CAMPRO® 3D MSCN is particularly effective against overhead drone surveillance because its three-dimensional structure breaks up the asset silhouette from aerial perspective.
Anti-drone camouflage refers to concealment systems specifically designed to defeat the sensor suites carried by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs/drones). Modern surveillance drones carry combinations of:
- Electro-optical cameras (visual spectrum)
- Near-infrared sensors (NIR)
- Forward-Looking Infrared (FLIR/thermal)
- Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
- LiDAR
Effective anti-drone camouflage must defeat ALL sensors the drone carries — not just one. Our CAMPRO® MSCN range provides multi-spectral protection across all these sensor types, making concealed assets invisible to drone surveillance regardless of the sensor combination deployed.
The global anti-drone system market is valued at (price on request) billion (2024) and projected to reach (price on request) billion by 2032, growing at 24.5% CAGR. This growth is driven by:
- Proliferation of low-cost surveillance drones on modern battlefields
- FPV (First Person View) attack drone threats
- Increasing use of drone swarms for area surveillance
- Commercial drones being weaponised by non-state actors
- AI-powered drone sensor fusion making detection more sophisticated
Camouflage is the first line of defence — if an asset cannot be detected, it cannot be targeted. Our MSCN nets provide passive, unpowered concealment that works continuously without electronic signatures.
Our camouflage products and electronic counter-drone systems serve complementary roles:
| Feature | Camouflage (CAMPRO®) | Electronic C-UAS |
|---|---|---|
| Power required | None (passive) | Yes (active) |
| Detectable signature | None | Electronic emissions detectable |
| Effective against | All sensor types simultaneously | Specific drone types/frequencies |
| Operational cost | Zero after deployment | Ongoing power and maintenance |
| Defeats visual recce | Yes | No |
| Defeats physical attack | Concealment (prevent targeting) | Jamming/interception |
Best practice is layered defence: CAMPRO® camouflage prevents detection, while electronic C-UAS provides active defeat if detection occurs. Our products integrate into any counter-drone defence architecture.
Yes. Thermal-imaging (FLIR/TIR) is one of the most common drone sensor types. Our products defeat thermal detection through:
- CAMPRO® MSCN nets — Reduce thermal radiation by up to 70%, screening hot targets (running engines, heated buildings, personnel) from drone FLIR sensors
- CAMPRO® Anti-Thermal Paint — Disrupts thermal imaging of fixed assets (bunkers, hangars)
- CAMPRO® MSCGS — Conceals individual soldier body heat from drone thermal cameras
- CAMPRO® ECR — Anti-thermal properties built into artificial rock structures
The 2-foot deployment gap between net and asset (per deployment guidelines) is critical for thermal performance — it prevents the net from conducting the asset's heat.
Yes. SAR drones use radar to create high-resolution images of the ground, even through cloud cover and at night. Our radar-defeating products:
- CAMPRO® 12dB MSCN — 94% radar signal reduction (best protection)
- CAMPRO® 6dB MSCN — 75% radar signal reduction
- CAMPRO® Anti-Radar Paint — Absorbs radar waves on painted surfaces
- CAMPRO® ECR — Radar-absorbent material in rock structures
India's IIT-Kanpur recently developed the Analakshya metamaterial cloaking system for SAR defeat — this technology trend aligns with our ongoing R&D in radar-absorbent materials.
Stealth technology reduces an asset's detectability across electromagnetic spectrum bands — the same fundamental principle as our multi-spectral camouflage. While "stealth" is commonly associated with aircraft design (radar-absorbing shapes and coatings), the concept applies equally to:
- Ground vehicles — CAMPRO® Anti-Radar Paint reduces radar cross-section
- Fixed installations — CAMPRO® ECR provides multi-spectral stealth for bunkers
- Personnel — CAMPRO® MSCGS provides personal stealth
- Entire sites — site-level concealment programmes makes military bases invisible
Motley Exim is one of India's leading companies in practical stealth and signature management technology for defence applications.
Signature management is the military discipline of controlling all detectable signatures an asset emits across the electromagnetic spectrum:
- Visual signature — how it looks to the eye/camera
- Infrared signature — heat emission
- Radar signature — radar cross-section
- Acoustic signature — sound emission
- Electronic signature — radio/electronic emissions
Our CAMPRO® and MECO® product ranges address the first four signature types. Effective signature management makes an asset harder to detect, identify, and target — dramatically increasing survivability. Our Defence Applications wizard helps you identify which signatures need management for your specific operational scenario.
India's stealth technology is advancing rapidly:
- IIT-Kanpur's Analakshya — Metamaterial Surface Cloaking System for SAR defeat
- Ghatak stealth UCAV — India's first stealth combat drone (2026 rollout)
- AMCA — Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (5th-gen stealth fighter)
- Hyper Stealth Technologies — iDEX-funded MSCN startup
These developments drive demand for multi-spectral camouflage across all defence branches — from personnel to large installations. Our R&D programmes keep pace with these advancements, ensuring our products incorporate the latest stealth materials and techniques.
AI-enhanced drone sensors represent the next challenge in camouflage technology. Current AI capabilities include:
- Pattern recognition that can identify man-made shapes
- Multi-sensor fusion combining visual + thermal + radar data
- Anomaly detection comparing terrain over time
Our response:
- 3D MSCN defeats shape recognition by mimicking natural terrain
- Multi-spectral coverage defeats sensor fusion (all bands concealed simultaneously)
- Natural garnishing integration defeats anomaly detection
No camouflage is 100% foolproof against unlimited sensor sophistication — but our MSCN products significantly increase the cost and difficulty of detection, forcing adversaries to deploy more expensive and fewer sensor platforms. Our R&D continues to address emerging AI sensor threats.
In a layered counter-drone defence architecture, camouflage occupies the first layer — prevention of detection:
- Layer 1: Concealment (CAMPRO®) — Prevent the drone from detecting the asset
- Layer 2: Detection — Radar/acoustic sensors to detect incoming drones
- Layer 3: Identification — Classify drone as threat or friendly
- Layer 4: Defeat — Electronic jamming, kinetic interception, or directed energy
If Layer 1 (camouflage) is effective, Laye(price on request)–4 may never need to engage — the drone simply doesn't see the asset. This makes camouflage the most cost-effective element of counter-drone defence: zero power consumption, zero operating cost, no electronic emissions.
Yes. While our core market is military, anti-drone camouflage is increasingly relevant for critical infrastructure:
- Power plants — Conceal from surveillance drones
- Data centres — Physical concealment + FIRE ARMOR® fire protection
- Government buildings — Visual and thermal signature reduction
- Border installations — Multi-spectral concealment of observation posts
- Airports — Runway and facility concealment from hostile drone reconnaissance
Export of these products may be subject to regulations depending on the destination and end-use. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Overhead imagery (from satellites or high-altitude drones) poses specific challenges because it captures:
- The plan view (top-down shape) of assets
- Shadow patterns that reveal hidden objects
- Thermal hotspots from engines and HVAC systems
Our solutions:
- CAMPRO® 3D MSCN — breaks up top-down silhouette with natural terrain-like 3D texture
- Full ground extension — eliminating shadow patterns
- Multi-spectral coverage — defeating thermal and NIR overhead sensors
- CAMPRO® ECR — permanent overhead concealment indistinguishable from terrain
Radar-Absorbent Material (RAM) is any material that absorbs radar waves rather than reflecting them back to the radar receiver. Our radar-defeating products incorporate RAM technology:
- CAMPRO® 12dB MSCN — net fabric incorporates radar-absorbing elements
- CAMPRO® Anti-Radar Paint — paint formulation absorbs and deflects radar
- CAMPRO® ECR — radar-absorbent compounds in rock structure
India is rapidly advancing in RAM technology — IIT-Kanpur's Analakshya metamaterial system is a recent breakthrough. Our R&D monitors and incorporates advances in RAM for our product line.
Yes. Night vision devices operate in the NIR (Near-Infrared, 700–2500nm) band. Our products that defeat NIR-equipped drones:
- All CAMPRO® MSCN nets — NIR protection across the range
- CAMPRO® CAM-IRR Paint — specifically formulated for NIR reflectance matching
- CAMPRO® MSCGS — personal NIR concealment
- CAMPRO® 3D Sniper Suit — Visual + NIR concealment
Standard (non-multi-spectral) camouflage nets do NOT defeat night vision — they are immediately visible under NIR imaging. This is why multi-spectral capability is essential against modern drone threats.
Our R&D addresses several emerging drone threats:
- Drone swarms — Large numbers of small drones conducting coordinated surveillance. Our area-coverage MSCN systems conceal entire sites, not just individual assets.
- AI sensor fusion — Drones combining multiple sensor data in real-time. Our multi-spectral approach ensures no single sensor provides a clear detection.
- Hyperspectral imaging — Next-gen sensors analysing hundreds of spectrum bands. Our materials research addresses extended spectral coverage.
- LiDAR-equipped drones — 3D mapping technology. Our 3D MSCN and ECR products provide countermeasures through natural terrain replication.
Visit our R&D Projects page for updates on our technology development programmes. Contact us to discuss specific threat scenarios and our capability roadmap.
