Who We Are

Motley Exim Co. (MECo) is an Indian defence-industry manufacturer of multi-spectral camouflage, concealment, and fire-suppression systems for armed forces and allied militaries. Incorporated as a partnership firm in 1999 with brand heritage tracing to Carris Coatings (1986), MECo holds joint-development credentials with DRDO, an MOU with DMSRDE Kanpur, and supplies the Indian Army, Ministry of Defence, and allied foreign militaries under SCOMET / DGFT licensing.

In June 2026, MECo received a DRDO Dare to Dream 5.0 Certificate of Merit (Startup/MSE category) for its Mobile Modifying Camouflage System — a recognition of innovation, not a development contract, grant, or endorsement. Product brands — CAMPRO®, MECO®, FIRE ARMOR®, and CAM-IRR® — are separate, India-registered brands.

Carris Coatings (1986) was an unregistered sole-brand operation in fire-retardant coatings and concealment paint. Motley Exim Co. (1999) is the registered partnership firm with formal export licensing and is the continuous corporate entity today.
